How the adventure began

Before opening her own showroom, Tania Yumbla spent years working for mattress companies in New York, learning the craft from the inside: how a great mattress is built, how people really sleep, and how much the right guidance matters. In March 2013 she took the leap and opened Aventura Mattress on West Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach.

The name was never about a city. Aventura means adventure, and that is exactly what starting her own business was: a leap of faith, built one client at a time.

In 2018 the business moved to its flagship showroom at 15516 Biscayne Boulevard, a refined space where clients can try the world's finest mattresses side by side and discover SFERRA Italian linens. More than 25 years after Tania first entered the mattress industry, the promise is the same: honest advice, no pressure, and a relationship that lasts long after delivery day.
