Sealy Hybrid - An Overview
Sealy made a big step forward with their current Performance and Premium Hybrid collections. These two collections marked a serious commitment from Sealy to make a competitive hybrid mattress, and they’ve been very popular since their arrival. These two collections have Posturepedic zoned coil technology for better support under the heavier parts of our bodies. They both also have cooling memory foam and the Premium models add a cooling fabric layer. (A layer you can feel is actually cool to the touch.)
The Essential collection has a typical hybrid construction but without the zoned coil support, memory foam or cooling cover found in the top two Sealy lines.
Sealy Hybrid mattresses are sold in stores and online. The Essential, Performance and Premium collections are traditional mattresses that are delivered by retailer delivery teams. The In-home delivery is free, and so is the removal of your old mattress.

More about Sealy
Sealy is one of the oldest and largest mattress companies in America. The Posturepedic mattresses and blue butterfly logo are what Sealy is best known for. A few years ago, Tempur-Pedic purchased Sealy, along with its sister brand, Stearns & Foster. The company is now Tempur-Sealy and is the largest mattress company in the world.
Sealy continues to make a wide range of mattresses. Entry-level mattresses cost a few hundred dollars, and they go all the way up to mattresses priced at a couple thousand. There are tens of millions of Sealy mattresses in use today. They've maintained their status as some of the most popular beds in America.
Sealy Hybrid mattresses are a diverse group of beds. They include the Sealy Hybrid Essential, Performance, and Premium collections.
Starting at the top, the Performance and Premium beds are the newest. These mattresses represent Sealy’s best foot forward for serious hybrid mattresses and they’ve been very popular. They have premium features like the cool-to-the-touch cover on the Premium beds. Since these mattresses can cost up to $2,699 (queen-size) these types of features should be expected.
For less money, you get a more basic version in the Performance line, which represents a better value. The only real difference between them is the cool-to-the-touch cover that is featured on Premium beds. The exception to that would be the Premium Gold Chill Ultra Plush, which also has the ComfortFlex Coil Unit. The Sealy Hybrid Performance beds feel good and perform well so we recommend them.
The Essentials collection has the most basic version of these beds, in a firm feel. Certainly, for the value, it would also be a good bet.
The best Sealy Hybrid bed is the one that suits your sleep style, price range, and other preferences. Check out the individual model reviews for more details.
