Serta 5" Low Profile Foundation

The Serta 5" Low Profile Foundation is the matching low-profile foundation for Serta iComfortPro and Perfect Sleeper Pro mattresses. It gives the same flat, stable support as the standard foundation and keeps the bed lower.

Specifications

• Height: 5 in. (low profile)
• Made by Serta to pair with Serta mattresses, with a quilted cover that matches the mattress border
• King and Cal King are delivered as two pieces, which makes them easier to carry through hallways and stairs
• Sizes: Twin XL, Queen, King, Cal King

When to choose the low profile

• Your mattress is tall (about 14 in. or more) and a standard foundation would make the bed too high to get in and out of comfortably
• You like to sit on the edge of the bed with your feet flat on the floor
• You have a tall bed frame, or a headboard you want to keep visible
• You prefer a lower, more modern look

Both heights support the mattress in the same way; the only difference is the final height of the bed. As a guide, a 14 in. mattress sits 19 in. above the frame on the 5 in. low profile, and 23 in. on the Serta 9" Standard Foundation.

The photo shows the low profile foundation under a Serta Perfect Sleeper Pro mattress; the mattress is sold separately.
