The Adapt family: pressure relief in three levels

TEMPUR-Adapt

Adapt is where the Tempur-Pedic experience begins: the brand's signature TEMPUR Material, which softens and shapes itself to your body, under a cool-to-the-touch cover. At 11 inches, it is the slimmest model in the lineup. It comes in a Medium all-foam version and a Medium Hybrid version with a coil support core.

TEMPUR-ProAdapt

ProAdapt steps up to Tempur-Pedic's Advanced Relief Material, which the brand says absorbs up to 20% more pressure than its original TEMPUR Material. It also adds a removable, washable cover and a breathable comfort layer. ProAdapt is the only collection offered in all four feels, which makes it a natural starting point if you are not yet sure how soft or firm you like your bed.

TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt

LuxeAdapt is the top of the Adapt family and the tallest at 13 inches. Tempur-Pedic positions it as its most conforming support in this family. The Soft and Firm versions add a five-zone ergonomic support layer designed to support different areas of the body differently.

The Breeze family: made for warm sleepers

South Florida nights are warm most of the year, so cooling is one of the most common questions we hear in the showroom. The Breeze collections combine Tempur-Pedic pressure relief with a SmartClimate cover that is removable, machine-washable and cool to the touch, plus layers designed to pull heat away from your body.

ProBreeze uses Tempur-Pedic's Pure Cool material and ventilated Advanced Relief Material. Tempur-Pedic says it feels up to 5° cooler. It comes in Medium and Medium Hybrid.

TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze

LuxeBreeze is Tempur-Pedic's coolest mattress. It upgrades to Pure Cool Plus material, and Tempur-Pedic says it feels up to 10° cooler, based on the brand's comparison with its ProAdapt models over eight hours of sleep. It is 13 inches tall and comes in Soft, Medium Hybrid and Firm.

All-foam or Hybrid?

Every collection offers a Hybrid version, which places Tempur-Pedic's comfort layers over a core of coils. Compared with all-foam models, hybrids generally feel a little more buoyant, make it easier to change positions, and let more air move through the mattress. All-foam models give you the deepest "hug" Tempur-Pedic is known for and isolate movement well, which many couples appreciate. Neither is better; it comes down to the feel you prefer.

Soft, Medium or Firm: a starting point

As a general guide, side sleepers often lean toward Soft so their shoulders and hips can settle in, back sleepers tend to like Medium, and stomach sleepers usually prefer Firm. Body weight, temperature and personal taste matter just as much, which is why we always recommend lying on two or three options for several minutes in your usual sleep position before deciding.
