Which is which
Choosing between them
Wyoming King — 84 x 84 in
Square. Eight inches wider than a King and four longer. The smallest step up, and the one that fits most primary bedrooms without redesigning the room.
Texas King — 80 x 98 in
Narrower than a Wyoming but 18 inches longer. The right choice when height is the issue rather than width.
Alaskan King — 108 x 108 in
Nine feet square. A family bed. It needs a room of roughly 16 x 16 feet to leave walking space, and a foundation built for it.
In-between sizes
Olympic Queen, California Queen and Super Single, for rooms that need more than a Queen but less than a King.
Larger than Alaskan
We build beyond 108 inches. Send the dimensions and we will quote it.

Before you order
Three things to settle first
The room. Leave at least 30 inches of walking space on the sides you use. An Alaskan King in a 14 x 14 room leaves almost none.
The route. Measure the narrowest point between the street and the bedroom: the elevator, the stairwell turn, the doorway. We can build the mattress in two pieces if the route demands it.
The foundation. An oversized mattress needs a base built to the same dimensions. We supply foundations with the mattress.
And the bedding: oversized kings need sheets made for them. We carry fine linens and can source oversized sizes.

- Delivery and installationWe deliver, set it on the foundation and remove the old mattress.

- Custom-size mattresses are final sale. They cannot be returned or exchanged.
- The comfort exchange applies to standard sizes only.
- Delivery of custom-size mattresses is within South Florida.
- Oversized mattresses require a matching foundation, which we supply.

Oversized king questions
How big is an Alaskan King?
108 x 108 inches, or 274 x 274 cm — nine feet square. Plan on a room of about 16 x 16 feet to keep walking space on three sides.
Will an oversized king fit through my door?
Often not in one piece. We measure the access and build the mattress in two pieces when the route requires it.
Do I need a special foundation?
Yes. An oversized mattress needs a base built to the same dimensions, and we supply it with the mattress.
Where do I find sheets for a Wyoming or Alaskan King?
Through us. Standard King bedding will not fit, and we carry and source oversized linens.
How long does production take?
7 to 15 days from the confirmed order.
Can an oversized king be returned?
No. Custom sizes are made for one bed and are final sale.
